RAINS....!!!
hey guyz..its been a long long time...nice to get back to bloggin' again. This is a place where i put in my views..my thoughts and my imagination....a place where ur thoughts...ur comments are most welcome. :)
Its a beautiful day...nice n pleasant..with lush green trees, cold breeze n lovely drizzles..!!
n as i resume my bloggin today i culdnt find a better topic than "RAINS"
Rains.. remind me of different things. Rains are about dark clouds, chilly romantic breeze,d scent of wet mud, water, greenery.Its about hot coffee , mouth waterin pakkodas and i guess everyone's favourite garma garam jalebi..(yummmmm)
As a kid i hv always longed for rains...again there were several reasons for it.. rains meant no schools[hehehhe :) ]... it meant pullin' up my pyjamas n laze around! it was great fun to get soaked in rains...wear those bright and colourful raincoats and go splashin' all d way :) paper boats n singin those sweet rain song...rains definitely make me nostalgic for sure.
For me rain is beautiful..Its wen i want to shut ma books n jus look outside my balcony n feel d breeze ..listen to d pitter-patter of rains(remembered a BONG sayin" Bishti pore Tapur Tupur")its wen i start humming my own tunes..listen to soul stirrin songs...Its wen i feel like gettin drenched..play soccer (m a big sports freak!)...its also d best time to shed those hidden tears cuz no one will get to kno as its raining :) got to say charlie chaplin was absolutely rite as he said "I love to walk in the rains as no one can see me crying there "
Its all beautiful, enjoyable and pleasant in rains BUT how can i forget Rains in mumbai..As you all kno rains in mumbai hv proved to be disaster since last few years.. d beautiful lovely rains hv become death rains for many innocent people.. N dis is no exaggeration!!!I was watchin television in the mornin n i was horrified to see the scenario in mumbai..Trains blocked..gutters choked n overflowin'...1st floor of houses in waters..everywhere water- loggin'...cars, rickshaws , other vehicles almost submerged in water n people even lost lives due to electric shock cuz of unrepaired electric poles... i completely agreed to wat d news channel displayed "Rains in mumbai = Floods".. i was astouned to hear dt its not even d end of June n mumbai is already flooded!
n c'mon we can't really blame the system for all dis fiasco dat we see every year...wat about the poor meethi nadi, which has ended up to be death river for d poor people satyin' in d vicinty.Y to blame the BMC, MMRD or XYZ for dis..y cant v people own it up..n do somethin abt it..n even u'll agree dt v r someway responsible for it..dunt ya agree? If 'yes' den try to put in some efforts to rectify dis situation..think twice before throwin dt plastic bag outside or cuttin dt old tree in ur vicinty!
lets do sumthin to retain d magic of rains..
